<p>On June 29, 2007, I was one of those many people around the country who was standing in line at an Apple Store to try to get one of the first iPhones. The purchase was going to be a change for me; Cingular (now AT&T) didn't allow users to swap SIMs between devices -- something I needed to do at the time -- but since it was the sole carrier at launch of the iPhone, I decided to part ways with T-Mobile. </p>

Ruling on Irish Apple data center delayed due to “lack of judges”

<p>It was thought that a hearing regarding opposition to Apple's proposed Athenry, Ireland data center would conclude on June 23rd, but the decision is apparently on hold thanks to a "lack of judges" to hear the case. The <a target="_blank" href="http://galwaybayfm.ie/disappointment-long-awaited-decision-apples-athenry-data-centre-postponed/" rel="noopener noreferrer">news broke on the Galway Bay FM radio station</a> when a six-person advocacy group from "Apple for Athenry" arrived to attend the hearing and found it was closed. </p>
