<p class="">Santa Clara University students, faculty, and staff with Apple iPhones or Apple Watches can now "go mobile" and leave their ACCESS ID cards at home.</p>

<p class="">A newly granted patent (number 10,568,533) shows that Apple continues to work on ways to beef up the health monitoring features of the Apple Watch. The patent is for “user interfaces for health monitoring.”</p>

<p class="">Thanks, but no thanks. Apple has again declined a request to testify at a U.S. congressional hearing that is part of a wider investigation into Chinese influence on technology companies, according to <a href="http://www.macrumors.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacRumors</a>.</p>

<p class="">I’ve said before that I'd love to see Apple introduce a HomePod Theater System. That may be coming. Apple has been granted a patent (number 10,575,095) for a “wireless and wired speaker hub for a home theater system.”</p>

<p class="">I had toyed with the idea of purchasing an <a href="https://www.apple.com/pro-display-xdr/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple Pro Display XDR</a>, but then the fever passed and I realized that I couldn’t afford a $5,000 display, as beautiful as it might be. Which meant that I couldn’t test out Logitech's <a href="https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/4k-pro-magnetic-webcam?crid=34" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">4K Pro Magnetic Webcam for Apple Pro Display XDR</a> with one.</p>

<p class="">Apple’s iPhone reached a record 75.6% market share in the fourth quarter of 2019 in India thanks to strong performance of the iPhone 11 and price drop on previous-generation models, according to the <a href="http://www.idc.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">IDC research group</a> -- as noted by <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/other/iphone-11-helps-apple-grab-756-25-premium-smartphone-market-share-in-india/ar-BB103ccE" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MSN</a>.</p>

<p class="">Let the Apple Car rumors roll on. And let's start one for “Apple Chairs.” Apple has been granted a patent (number 10,569,672) for an “adaptive tensile surface” that involves automobile seats and desk chairs.</p>

<p class="">Today would have been the 65th birthday of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. CEO Tim Cook <a href="https://twitter.com/tim_cook/status/1231937719523106818?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1231937719523106818&ref_url=https://www.imore.com/apple-ceo-tim-cook-remembers-steve-jobs-his-birthday" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">took to Twitter</a> to remember his friend and mentor.</p>

Innolux is a company producing TFT LCD panels, established in 2003 and located in Taiwan.</p>

<p class="">Apple’s 2020 iPhone line-up may support a new Wi-Fi standard known as IEEE 802.11ay that promises to deliver faster and longer range W-Fi networks, according to the Japanese blog <a href="http://www.macotakara.jp/blog/rumor/entry-39389.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacOtakara</a>. It’s still in the draft phase, but is expected to be finalized by the ned of the year.</p>
