<p class="">Several big news organizations are joining the list of companies pushing for more favorable terms on the Apple App Store, according to <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/news-publishers-join-fight-against-apple-over-app-store-terms-11597949300"><span style="text-decoration:underline">The Wall Street Journal</span></a>.</p>

<p class="">Apple has released the second public beta of macOS Big Sur. The public betas are available on <a href="https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple's Beta Software Program website</a>.</p>

<p class="">Apple has filed for a patent (number 20200264764) for “systems and methods for enabling low-vision users to interact with a touch-sensitive secondary display.” The goal is, apparently, to beef up the features of the company’s Sidecar feature to allow Mac users with vision problems to more effectively use an iPad as a secondary display.</p>

<p class="">Apple has filed for a patent (number 20200264006) for “spatial audio navigation” that, if realized, would allow users of an iPhone, iPad, AirPods, Apple Watch, an “Apple Car,” or the rumored “Apple Glasses” (an augmented reality head-mounted display) to follow directions based on audio cues rather than vocal directions or visual cues.</p>
