<p class="">Apple is making it easier to discover and listen to podcasts via the web, according to <a href="https://techcrunch.com/2020/11/16/you-can-now-embed-apple-podcasts-on-the-web/?guccounter=1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TechCrunch</a>. The tech giant has announced an Apple Podcasts embed web player that allows anyone — including creators, listeners or marketers — to generate embed codes for the over 1.5 million shows available across the Apple Podcasts service.</p>

<p class="">HP edged out Lenovo for the first time in years by a slim margin to regain leadership in the worldwide laptop market, according to Strategy Analytics. However, it was also good news for Apple.</p>

The majority (49%) of programmatic OTT/CTV ads go to Roku devices, but Apple TV (the set-top box) saw the largest market share increase (+175%) in 2020.</p>

<p class="">New <a href="https://browser.geekbench.com/mac-benchmarks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Geekbench scores</a> show that the 2020 Mac mini with The Apple-mad M1 chip is faster than every Intel Mac in single core tests, even though the benchmarking app is running under the Rosetta 2 emulator. The M1 MacBook Pro and M1 MacBook Air take second and third places.</p>

<p class="">Comedian and actor Hasan Minhaj (<em>Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj</em>) has joined the cast of <em>The Morning Show</em>’s second season on Apple TV+, according to <a href="https://deadline.com/2020/11/hasan-minhaj-cast-the-morning-show-season-2-apple-tv-drama-series-1234615159/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Deadline</a>. He’ll play Eric, a charismatic, rising star who joins The Morning Show.team.</p>

<p class="">Apple is purportedly working on its first branded over-the-air headphones. The tech giant has filed for a patent (number 20200356341) for “augmenting control sound with spatial audio cues” that hints at features for the headset.</p>
