<p>A lawsuit filed by pop artist Romero Britto against Apple and a design firm claiming misuse of his distinctive images and colorful style has been dismissed, report the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.miamiherald.com/news/article79148042.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">Miami Herald</a>. Miami federal court documents show the 2015 lawsuit was dropped last week. No details were provided, but all parties will pay their own costs, notes the <em>Herald</em>.</p>

<p>After hearing students and teachers “overwhelmingly” say iPads are used to play games in class, while laptops are better for schoolwork, Auburn and other districts in Maine are offering to replace the Apple tablets with laptops such as MacBooks, reports the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.sunjournal.com/news/lewiston-auburn/2016/05/19/state-offering-schools-ipad-trade/1927446" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lewiston-Auburn Sun Journal</a>.</p>

<p>U-Play Online has announced Youtubers Life, a mixture of two genres, life sim and tycoon. It’s launching simultaneously for the Mac and Windows systems on <a target="_blank" href="http://store.steampowered.com/app/428690/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Steam</a>. </p>

<p><a href="http://www.ikpress.com/r.html?uid=1.n6.btw.b8f.lbnwlcshk5">IK Multimedia</a> has released <a href="http://www.ikpress.com/r.html?uid=1.n6.btw.b8f.lbnwlcshk5">T-RackS Saturator X</a>, a new T-RackS digital signal processor module designed to impart the color, flavor and saturation effects of classic analog audio processing gear to digital recordings.</p>

<p>Following myriad complaints that iOS 9.3.2 bricks some 9.7-inch iPad Pro models, Apple has pulled the iOS 9.3.2 update. For owners of 9.7-inch iPad Pros who haven’t installed the update, iOS 9.3.1 is now listed as the most current version of iOS 9 available.</p>

<p>AirBeamTV has became up Mirror for Samsung TV for Mac OS X. It allows you o wirelessly mirror the screen of a Mac directly on any Samsung Smart TV without the need for any additional hardware. </p>

<p>A report from <a href="http://macrumors.com">MacRumors.com</a> says that the upcoming version of OS X that will be previewed at next month’s Apple Worldwide Developer Conference will allow you to unlock a Mac via Touch ID on an iPhone.</p>

<p>While Apple CEO Tim Cook was revealing his business plans in India, a top Lisa Jackson, Apple's vice president of environment, policy and social initiatives, was in Rajasthan this week, visiting "solar mamas" and the Barefoot College in Tilonia, Ajmer, a rural, non-profit school that makes extensive use of iPads, <a target="_blank" href="https://in.finance.yahoo.com/news/apple-top-executive-visits-solar-092803326.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">reports IANS</a>.</p>

<p>My feelings about Apple’s 12-inch MacBook — <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2015/8/12/considering-the-12-inch-macbook-as-a-laptop-for-students?rq=MacBook" rel="noopener noreferrer">see my review here</a> — haven’t changed since its debut last year: it’s a great “secondary” Mac, but not a desktop replacement. </p>
