FolderGlance still a great Mac OS X utility after all these years

<p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px"><a target="_blank" href="http://tinyurl.com/ow2dpx9" rel="noopener noreferrer">Yellow Lemon Software's FolderGlance</a>, a utility for browsing files and folders, is still a solid addition to your Mac's software arsenal after all these years. With version 3.0.5, it's able to resolve aliases on Mac OS X Yosemite. Alias handling on older Mac OS X releases has also been improved.</p>

Kakaku: Mac OS X market share in Japan declines year-over-year

<p>Approximately 97.9% of the total population in Japan now owns at least one personal computer, according to a survey by <em>Kakaku</em>, which provides price, products and other information of merchandise and services including PCs, home electronics, broadband and mobile phone telecommunication fees, food, drink, interiors and cosmetics. That's up 1.8 percentage points year-over-year.</p>

Apple wants to ‘advance the art of note-taking’

<p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">Extra charges for the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus on China's black market are a lot lower than last year when the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were released thanks to Apple's efforts to increase stock and shorten shipping time, the Chinese language news portal, <em>DoNews </em>reports.</p>

T-Mobile offers a 16GB iPhone 6s for $5 a month with its JUMP! plan

<p>With the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.apple.com/iphone-6s/" rel="noopener noreferrer">iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus</a> due to arrive Friday, T-Mobile has unveiled an US$5 a month for the iPhone 6s and $9 a month for the iPhone 6s Pluswith JUMP! On Demand and trade-in of an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. Unfortunately, those prices are for the 16GB models, which have a paucity of storage.</p>

Apple Pay users more satisfied than other contactless users

<p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">Fifty-one of Apple Pay users are "extremely satisfied," compared to 32 percent of contactless card users who said the same, <a target="_blank" href="http://tinyurl.com/nmsmth4" rel="noopener noreferrer">according to new data</a> from eDigitalResearch. The research group's study shows that over a third (40 percent) of shoppers who have an Apple device have used Apple Pay to pay for goods or service</p>

What to play this weekend: Adventures of Pip

<p>Apple’s redesigned company store opened this past weekend in Cupertino, California. Among the changes — according to <a target="_blank" href="http://tinyurl.com/npzu9p7" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacMagazine</a> — the store will sell, for the first time, the iPhone, iPad, Macs, and Apple Watch along with a new collection of Apple-branded merchandise including clothing, mugs, and other collectibles.</p>

<p>Apple says that, as expected, <a target="_blank" href="http://www.apple.com/iphone-6s/" rel="noopener noreferrer">the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus</a> will be available at 8a.m. local time on Friday, Sept. 25 at Apple’s retail stores. What's more, in a press announcement,  Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, says that "iOS 9 is also off to an amazing start, on pace to be downloaded by more users than any other software release in Apple’s history."</p>
