<p>For the average Internet user, security of passwords is often a secondary consideration, right after convenience. Most of us belong to so many different websites requiring passwords that we could never name them all, even if a gun were placed to our heads. </p>

<p>Billy Sorrentino, <em>Wired</em> magazine’s creative director, has announced his departure. A <em>Wired</em> rep says Sorrentino will be joining Apple’s design team, but wouldn’t offer more detail, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.recode.net/2016/11/29/13783724/wired-apple-billy-sorrentino" rel="noopener noreferrer">recode</a>.</p>

<p>Cellcom, Israel's biggest mobile phone operator, is bringing its Cellcom TV Internet TV service to the fourth generation Apple TV, notes <a target="_blank" href="http://www.reuters.com/article/us-cellcom-israel-apple-television-idUSKBN13N15C" rel="noopener noreferrer">Reuters</a>. The company also launched a Cellcom TV app.</p>

<p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">Apple is investigating methods to improve video streaming on its macOS, iOS, and tvOS devices as evidenced by a patent filing with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.</p>

<p>In a note to clients — as noted by <a target="_blank" href="http://www.macrumors.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacRumors</a> — KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the 2017 iPhone will sport a glass casing with wireless charging. Previously, he has said this was “likely.” Now he’s apparently convinced it’s going to happen.</p>

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://cascable.se/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Cascable AB</a> has introduced Cascable Transfer for macOS. It’s a tool for wirelessly importing photos from your WiFi-enabled Canon, Nikon, Olympus or Sony camera directly into your Photos library, Lightroom catalog, or anywhere else on your Mac.</p>

<p>The Federal Circuit issued a “quick shutdown” Monday of Samsung’s bid for a rehearing of the full court’s October decision reinstating a jury’s $120 million patent infringement verdict in favor of Apple, shrugging off Samsung’s contention the ruling had been “extraordinary,” reports the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.law360.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Law360 website.</a></p>

<p>If you buy one of the new MacBook Pros don’t pay Apple an arm and leg for extra storage (the company charges an extra $400 for a 1TB SSD and and extra $12,00 for a 2GB SSD). Instead pick up a G-Drive slim SSD USB-C from G-Technology.</p>

Yep, I know you don’t want to buy dongles and adapters, but, with its latest laptops, Apple has given us little choice. </p>

<p>The <a target="_blank" href="http://www.accc.gov.au" rel="noopener noreferrer">Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)</a> has denied the country's biggest banks — Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Westpac Banking Corporation, National Australia Bank, and Bendigo and Adelaide Bank — authorization to collectively negotiate access to Apple Pay NFC technology. The banks sought authorization to bargain with Apple on two key issues:</p>

<p>Apple had a 66% share of the high end smartphone market in India as of October, as shipments of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus outdid those of Samsung Galaxy S7 and other variants, according to new data from Counterpoint Research — as noted by the <a target="_blank" href="http://tech.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/mobile/googles-pixel-captures-10-premium-smartphone-market-share-in-india/55659473" rel="noopener noreferrer">Economic Times</a>. Samsung had a 23% share, notes the research group.</p>
