<p>At today’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote, Apple previewed iOS 11, an update to its mobile operating system, bringing new features to the iPhone and iPad this fall. Some of the features are obviously designed to position the latter as a laptop replacement (something Apple's been trying to do lately).</p>

<p>As anticipated, Apple previewed macOS High Sierra, the follow-up to macOS Sierra, at today’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote. Coming this fall (it’s now in beta testing), it delivers new core storage, video and graphics technologies that pave the way for future innovation on the Mac. </p>

<p>During today’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote, Apple announces updated iMacs, MacBook Pros and MacBooks. I wasn’t optimistic about updated all-in-ones being unveiled today, but I’m thrilled to be wrong.</p>

<p>The worldwide wearables market maintained its upward trajectory during the first quarter of 2017 (1Q17) with Apple and leading all companies and multiple products experiencing double- and triple-digit growth. </p>

<p>Apple and Amazon will join Foxconn's bid for Toshiba Corp's semiconductor business, Foxconn Chairman toldthe Nikkei Business Daily — as noted by <a target="_blank" href="https://www.reuters.com/article/us-toshiba-accounting-idUSKBN18W0C4" rel="noopener noreferrer">Reuters</a>.</p>

<p>The keynote that kicks off Apple's 2017 Worldwide Developer Conference will get underway at 10 a.m. (Pacific) today. There’s little doubt we’ll see the next versions of macOS, iOS, watchOS and tvOS unveiled.</p>

<p>On a regular basis, <em>Apple World Today</em> posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they're popular and deserve mention. Here are today's picks.</p>

<p>Another day, another lawsuit. <a target="_blank" href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/17/06/02/patent-troll-uniloc-adds-two-more-lawsuits-to-growing-list-of-complaints-against-apple" rel="noopener noreferrer">AppleInsider</a> reports that Uniloc, a “patent troll,” has filed yet another suit — actually two, against Apple claiming, naturally, patent infringement.</p>

<p>If macOS 10.13 isn’t unveiled at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote on on Monday, June 5, the world will end. Well, okay, I’m exaggerating, but the tech world will be shocked.</p>

<p>There are three certainties in this world: death, taxes, and the fact that Apple will preview iOS 11 at next week’s Worldwide Developer Conference. Lots of new features are expected. Following are some of the things I’m hoping to see:</p>

<p>I’m fairly happy with my Apple Watch Series 2 and watchOS 3. However, there are some things I’d love to see addressed in watchOS 4, of which Apple will almost offer a sneak peak during Monday’s keynote that kicks off the 2017 Worldwide Developer Conference.</p>

<p>On Monday, there's a 99.99% chance Apple will preview tvOS 11 at the 2017 Worldwide Developer Conference keynote. And while I’m waiting for an Apple TV with 4K support, following are some things I want to see in the operating system upgrade (besides, obviously, support for 4K hardware):</p>
