TrendForce: global iPhone production volume for 2017 to increase by 5.6% annually

<p>In anticipation of Apple unveiling its 10th anniversary iPhone models later today, <a target="_blank" href="http://www.trendforce.com/membership/display?utm_medium=Website%20BackGround&utm_source=PR_News_20170912&utm_campaign=iPhone_Announce_20170912&utm_content=PR_News" rel="noopener noreferrer">TrendForce</a> predicts that the global smartphone production volume for 2017 will reach around 1.4 billion units, representing an annual increase of 4.8%. The market intelligence firm forecasts that global production volume of iPhone devices (including all previous models) for 2017 will total around 227.5 million units, representing an annual increase of 5.6%.</p>

Script Debugger loves AppleScript (but does Apple?)

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.latenightsw.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Late Night Software</a> recently revved Script Debugger, its AppleScript authoring environment for the Mac, to version 6.0.5. It’s a maintenance release that addresses a series of issues that came to light following the release of Script Debugger 6.0. The tweaks make a good app even better. And Late Night Software seems to love AppleScript more than Apple does.</p>
