<p>Another day, another lawsuit. <a target="_blank" href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/17/04/03/notorious-patent-troll-uniloc-targets-apple-over-maps-apple-id-remote-software-updates" rel="noopener noreferrer">AppleInsider</a> reports that Uniloc, a “patent troll,” has filed suit against Apple claiming infringement of three patents related to certain Maps features, user authentication via Apple ID and UDIDs, and remote iOS updates. </p>

<p>Increasingly, in worship services, I notice folks reading their Bibles and looking up Scripture on their iPhones and iPads. Hey, I'm one of them. My favorite iOS Bible app has been the NIV [New International Version] 50th Edition. However, my NEW favorite is the $4.99 <a target="_blank" href="http://www.neubible.co" rel="noopener noreferrer">NeuBible</a>, which is available at the <a target="_blank" href="//itunes.apple.com/us/app/neubible/id961857426?mt=8" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple App Store</a>.</p>

<p>Screen sharing will likely be in a future feature of Apple's FaceTime. If/when it happens, I'd like to see Apple take things a step further.</p>

<p>Apple will announce its second fiscal quarter results on Tuesday, May 2, at 2 p.m. (Pacific). As usual, Apple will offer an audio webcast of the call.</p>

<p>Industrial designer Christopher Stringer is leaving Apple after 21 years with the company, according to <a target="_blank" href="https://www.theinformation.com/veteran-apple-designer-leaving" rel="noopener noreferrer">The Information</a>. The article doesn't say whether he's retiring or taking another job.</p>

<p>Say it ain’t so:  Cannon Lake, Intel's next generation of Core processors, could arrive later than initially believed, after comments by a company executive suggest delays in development and mass production of the new processor, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.pcworld.com/article/3186477/computers/intels-cannonlake-pc-chip-shipments-may-slip-into-next-year.html" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>PC World</em></a>. This <em>could</em> delay the anticipated 32GB MacBook Pro with Touch Bar until 2018.</p>

<p>A former Apple salesman has filed suit against the company in Pennsylvania federal court alleging he was fired for reporting racial profiling against black customers, and that his cancer treatment and Seventh Day Adventist faith may also have played a role in his being terminated, reports <a target="_blank" href="https://www.law360.com/technology/articles/908541/apple-store-racially-profiles-says-ex-worker-in-bias-suit?nl_pk=ade0cf2b-ea3f-464b-bc93-d8e19277ac63&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=technology" rel="noopener noreferrer">Law 360</a>.</p>

<p>A California federal judge has ordered Unwired Planet to turn over to Apple documents from its U.K. patent suit against Samsung, Huawei Technologies and Google, finding that the information is relevant to an upcoming trial over wireless technologies, according to <a target="_blank" href="https://www.law360.com/technology/articles/908740/apple-wins-unwired-planet-s-uk-ip-row-docs-before-trial?nl_pk=ade0cf2b-ea3f-464b-bc93-d8e19277ac63&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=technology" rel="noopener noreferrer">Law360</a>.</p>

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.feralinteractive.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Feral Interactive</a> says F1 2016 will be released for the Mac on Thursday, April 6, and will be powered by Apple’s new graphics API (application programming interface), Metal.</p>

<p>Five percent of all U.S. households with a Wi-Fi connection use an Apple TV, according to new data from <a target="_blank" href="http://www.comscore.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">comScore</a>. However, it’s got a ways to go to catch up with Roku (18%), Amazon FireTV (12%), and Google’s Chromecast (8%).</p>

<p>Future Apple Watch bands may have tightness sensors. Apple has been granted a patent (number 20170086742) for “band tightness sensing.”</p>
