Patent trollin’: Uniloc sues Apple for — what else? — patent infringement

<p>Another day, another lawsuit. <a target="_blank" href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/17/04/03/notorious-patent-troll-uniloc-targets-apple-over-maps-apple-id-remote-software-updates" rel="noopener noreferrer">AppleInsider</a> reports that Uniloc, a “patent troll,” has filed suit against Apple claiming infringement of three patents related to certain Maps features, user authentication via Apple ID and UDIDs, and remote iOS updates. </p>

<p>Increasingly, in worship services, I notice folks reading their Bibles and looking up Scripture on their iPhones and iPads. Hey, I'm one of them. Could it be 2018 before we see substantial Mac updates?

<p>Say it ain’t so:  Cannon Lake, Intel's next generation of Core processors, could arrive later than initially believed, after comments by a company executive suggest delays in development and mass production of the new processor, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.pcworld.com/article/3186477/computers/intels-cannonlake-pc-chip-shipments-may-slip-into-next-year.html" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>PC World</em></a>. This <em>could</em> delay the anticipated 32GB MacBook Pro with Touch Bar until 2018.</p>

Unwired Planet must give Apple documents from its U.K. patent suit
