<p>On a regular basis, <em>Apple World Today</em> posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they're popular and deserve mention. Here are today's picks.</p>

<p>Well, that's a bummer. Just got off a chat with Apple Support and discovered that the <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2017/6/5/apple-updates-its-imac-macbook-pro-macbook-line-ups)" rel="noopener noreferrer">newly announced iMac</a> isn’t user upgradable.</p>

<p>Apple has updated <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/garageband/id408709785?mt=8&at=11l3Qo">GarageBand for Mac</a> with Touch Bar support, cross-platform integration, and more. According to Apple, version 10.2 offers:</p>

<p>The tvOS got little love at the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference keynote today, though CEO Tim Cook said there would be more info later this year. He also added that Apple now has 50 partners in the TV app and that Amazon Prime is coming later this year. </p>

<p>The worldwide wearables market maintained its upward trajectory during the first quarter of 2017 (1Q17) with Apple and leading all companies and multiple products experiencing double- and triple-digit growth. </p>

<p>Apple and Amazon will join Foxconn's bid for Toshiba Corp's semiconductor business, Foxconn Chairman toldthe Nikkei Business Daily — as noted by <a target="_blank" href="https://www.reuters.com/article/us-toshiba-accounting-idUSKBN18W0C4" rel="noopener noreferrer">Reuters</a>.</p>

<p>The keynote that kicks off Apple's 2017 Worldwide Developer Conference will get underway at 10 a.m. (Pacific) today. There’s little doubt we’ll see the next versions of macOS, iOS, watchOS and tvOS unveiled.</p>

<p>Another day, another lawsuit. <a target="_blank" href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/17/06/02/patent-troll-uniloc-adds-two-more-lawsuits-to-growing-list-of-complaints-against-apple" rel="noopener noreferrer">AppleInsider</a> reports that Uniloc, a “patent troll,” has filed yet another suit — actually two, against Apple claiming, naturally, patent infringement.</p>
