iOS 11 will offer some iPad-specific features

<p>At today’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote, Apple previewed iOS 11, an update to its mobile operating system, bringing new features to the iPhone and iPad this fall. Some of the features are obviously designed to position the latter as a laptop replacement (something Apple's been trying to do lately).</p>

ComputerCare chosen for iPhone repair pilot program

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://ctt.marketwire.com/?release=1311419&id=11826181&type=1&url=http%3a%2f%2fwww.computercare.net%2f" rel="noopener noreferrer">ComputerCare</a>, a company that offers warranty and non-warranty hardware repairsfor tech companies, announced that it's been selected by Apple as one of only three Apple Service Providers in the U.S. to participate in a new pilot program that will allow it to manage iPhone repair and calibration onsite. </p>

Patent trollin’: Uniloc sues Apple yet again (again)

<p>Another day, another lawsuit. <a target="_blank" href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/17/06/02/patent-troll-uniloc-adds-two-more-lawsuits-to-growing-list-of-complaints-against-apple" rel="noopener noreferrer">AppleInsider</a> reports that Uniloc, a “patent troll,” has filed yet another suit — actually two, against Apple claiming, naturally, patent infringement.</p>
