<p>Lobbying records in New York state show that Apple, Verizon, and the tech industry's largest trade organizations are opposing a bill that would make it easier for consumers and independent companies to repair your electronics, according to a <a target="_blank" href="https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/apple-is-lobbying-against-your-right-to-repair-iphones-new-york-state-records-confirm" rel="noopener noreferrer">Motherboard report.</a></p>

<p>According to a new report from <a target="_blank" href="http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20170519PB200.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">DigiTimes</a> — TPK Holdings is charging between $18 and $22 for the technology for 3D Touch, so the 3D Touch tech in the upcoming “iPhone 8” will cost Apple more than the company anticipated. </p>

<p>Apple has been granted a patent (number 20170142509) for “dual mode headphones and methods for constructing the same.” Per the invention, the headphones can be moved between a first, in-ear position and a second, speaker position. </p>
