<p>Apple is looking to hire a “Lyrics Curation Manager” for Apple Music, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.musicbusinessworldwide.com/apple-recruiting-team-lyrics-curators-excellent-music-knowledge/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Music Business World</a>. According to <a target="_blank" href="https://jobs.apple.com/us/search?#&ss=music&t=0&sb=req_open_dt&so=1&lo=0*USA&pN=0&openJobId=49301943" rel="noopener noreferrer">the job listing</a>, the company is looking for a manager to lead a team of lyrics curators “with excellent writing skills, music knowledge, and attention to detail.”</p>

Apple is among the Top 30 Tech and Telecom list of green power companies

<p>Apple is among the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.epa.gov/greenpower/green-power-partnership-top-30-tech-telecom" rel="noopener noreferrer">Top 30 Tech & Telecom list</a> as compiled by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The list represents the largest green power users among technology and telecommunications partners within the Green Power Partnership. The combined green power use of these organizations amounts to nearly 10.6 billion kilowatt-hours annually, which is equivalent to the electricity use of nearly 968,000 average American homes annually.</p>

Apple is reportedly looking for new server suppliers with lower quotes

<p>In addition to cutting component quotes for notebooks and smartphones, Apple plans to reduce its costs from servers, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20160816PD207.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">DigiTimes</a>. The Cupertino, California-based company has been seeking new server suppliers with lower quotes and “expects the move to give its existing server partners pressure on reducing their prices, according to sources from the upstream supply chain,” the article adds.</p>

Another Apple patent hints at a gesture-based user interface for the Mac

<p>Apple has been granted a patent (number 9,4176,706) for a “three dimensional user interface session control using depth sensors” that hints at a Mac user interface that utilizes gesture controls in much the same manner its <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2016/8/11/leap-motion-control-is-intriguing-and-fun-but-not-quite-ready-for-prime-time?rq=Leap" rel="noopener noreferrer">Leap Motion’s Leap control device.</a></p>

<p>Berkshire Hathaway, the multinational conglomerate run by Warren Buffett, disclosed in a regulatory filing on Monday that it had 15.2 million shares of Apple as of the end of June, or just under $1.5 billion worth. As noted by <a target="_blank" href="http://money.cnn.com/2016/08/15/technology/warren-buffett-apple-stake/index.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">CNN Money</a>, that that marks a 55% increase from the 9.8 million shares Berkshire had in the first quarter.</p>

Augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR) revenues will reach $162 Billion by 2020
