<p>Apple’s AirPods don't go on sale until late October, but 12% of U.S. consumers surveyed by Bank of America Merrill Lynch say they intend to purchase ‘em, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.businessinsider.com/apple-airpods-12-of-consumers-intend-to-purchase-2016-9?r=UK&IR=T" rel="noopener noreferrer">Business Insider</a>.</p>

<p>Apple has set up its first R&D center in China in Beijing's Zhongguancun Science Park, according to a statement issued by the Zhongguancun Park Management Committee — and as noted by <a target="_blank" href="http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20160929PD204.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">DigiTimes</a>.</p>

<p>Apple is looking into ways for your Mac and iPad and/or iPhone to work together in new, exciting ways. The company has filed for a patent (number 20160283063) for “content presentation and interaction across multiple devices.”</p>

<p>Consumers have been able to charge their iPhones and iPads away from a wall outlet for years thanks to car adapters and battery banks as small as credit cards. Now we laptop owners can join this club thanks to the $99.99 <a target="_blank" href="http://mycharge.com/products/razorplatinum" rel="noopener noreferrer">myCharge Razor Platinum</a>.</p>

<p>Apple is preparing to update several of its Mac lines in late October, led by a redesigned MacBook Pro, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.macrumors.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacRumors</a>. I think that’s about right and here’s the prediction of the Sellers Research Firm (that’s me): new MacBook Pros and new iMacs will be announced on Tuesday, Oct. 25. (I hope I’m wrong, and that it’s sooner, but that’s what my crystal ball shows.)</p>

<p>Just over two weeks after <a href="http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/ios-10/">iOS 10</a> was released to the public, its adoption rate has reached 48.16%, overtaking iOS 9, according to data obtained from Mixpanel's <a target="_blank" href="https://mixpanel.com/trends/#report/ios_10/from_date:-3,report_unit:hour,to_date:0" rel="noopener noreferrer">iOS 10 adoption tracker</a>, as noted by <a target="_blank" href="http://www.macrumors.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacRumors</a>.</p>

<p>Apple and Deloitte <a target="_blank" href="http://apple.com/ipad/business/" rel="noopener noreferrer">have announced a partnership</a> “to help companies quickly and easily transform the way they work by maximizing the power, ease-of-use and security the iOS platform brings to the workplace through iPhone and iPad. </p>

<p><a href="http://cn.sino-mr.com/viewpoint/1219">A report</a> by Sino Market Research says Apple's China offline sales of the iPhone in August dropped 10.8% from a year ago. Market share dropped by 1.1 percentage points to 7.2%, with Apple remaining in the fourth position when it comes to smartphone sales.</p>

<p>Apple is to create a “spectacular” new London headquarters at Battersea Power Station in a “massive coup” for the developers behind the £9 billion project, according to the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/revealed-apple-to-create-stunning-new-hq-at-battersea-power-station-a3356201.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">Evening Standard</a>.</p>

<p>Apple Music ranks highest among the streaming music brands included in the J.D. Power 2016 Streaming Music Satisfaction Study with an overall score of 834. Apple leads with the highest score in three of the six measures, performing particularly well in performance and reliability, content and ease of use. Rhapsody ranks second with an overall score of 826 and performs particularly well in the cost of service and communication measures.</p>

<p>Apple has boosted its part and component orders for iPhone 7 devices, with order visibility for the fourth quarter 20-30% higher than expected,<a href="http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20160928PD203.html"> reports Digitimes</a>, citing sources from Taiwan-based touch panel makers TPK Holding and General Interface Solution (GIS).</p>
