<p>Apple has started introducing 4K HDR movies on the iTunes Store. You’ll be able to buy or stream the content on the new Apple TV 4K set-top box, which can be ordered now and is due to arrive next Friday — <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2017/9/15/the-iphone-8-8-plus-apple-watch-series-3-apple-tv-4k-seem-to-be-hot-sellers-on-day-one" rel="noopener noreferrer">if you’re lucky</a>.</p>

<p>An open letter from six advertising trade groups criticizes Apple for a new Safari feature called Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP), which uses machine learning to identify and limit any tracking behavior in the Safari browser. Tracking can include third-party cookies and identification puts a 24-hour time limit on that behavior. </p>

<p>Apple has released a golden master (GM) candidate of macOS High Sierra to developers and public beta testersA golden master is a final version of software ready for release to manufacturing.</p>

<p>Tap Guides has introduced the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075M8XMPJ" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>iPhone X Guide</em></a>, a book available in the Amazon Kindle Store that covers details of the iPhone X and iOS 11. </p>

<p>Apple wants the screens on iOS and watchOS devices to be more receptive to the touch when a user is wearing gloves. The company has filed for a patent (number 20170262101) for “glove touch detection.”</p>

<p>Following the news that Apple will integrate wireless charging into the new iPhone 8, 8 Plus and <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2017/9/12/more-details-on-the-iphone-x?rq=iPhone%20X" rel="noopener noreferrer">iPhone X,</a> Dan Bladen, CEO at <a target="_blank" href="https://chargifi.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Chargifi</a>, an Intel and Techstars-funded company that provides a wireless charging solution.</p>

<p>This week Apple unveiled the <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2017/9/12/apple-introduces-the-apple-tv-4k-with-hdr" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple TV 4K</a>. The product will be priced at $179 and $199 for 32GB and 64GB versions. Will it be a game changer? One research group says "no," though it will be successful.</p>

<p>Belkin has unveiled its new wireless charging pad for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. The Boost Up Wireless Charging Pad is fine-tuned with Qi technology under the hood, and is also able to charge at levels up to 7.5W for compatible devices, says Steve Malony, general manager and vice president, Belkin. </p>

<p>Mellel has released Mellel 4.0, an upgrade of its word processor for the Mac. The new version includes over 200 new and improved features, is built from the ground up and designed “to save writers both time and frustration associated with traditional word processors.”</p>
