iPhone continues to steal global smartphone market share from Samsung

<p>iPhone sales grew 36% year-on-year, while Samsung’s sales fell 5.3% in the same period, according to new data from the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.gartner.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Gartner research group</a>. Apple’s market share climbed from 12.2% in the second quarter of 2014 to 14.6% in the same quarter this year.</p>

Study: 12% of Android users are considering a switch to the upcoming iPhone 6s/6s Plus

<p>In a report obtained by <em>AppleWorld.Today</em>, Phoenix and SessionM's <a target="_blank" href="http://bit.ly/1UFvbfn" rel="noopener noreferrer">mobile insights platform, mXP</a>, says that 12% of Android users are considering making the switch when Apple introduces the iPhone 6s/6s Plus. The next gen smartphone is expected to be introduced at an <a target="_blank" href="http://tinyurl.com/pm9ot4w" rel="noopener noreferrer">early September event</a> — though Apple hasn't confirmed such an event.</p>
