<p>Apple and Deloitte <a target="_blank" href="http://apple.com/ipad/business/" rel="noopener noreferrer">have announced a partnership</a> “to help companies quickly and easily transform the way they work by maximizing the power, ease-of-use and security the iOS platform brings to the workplace through iPhone and iPad. </p>

<p><a href="http://cn.sino-mr.com/viewpoint/1219">A report</a> by Sino Market Research says Apple's China offline sales of the iPhone in August dropped 10.8% from a year ago. Market share dropped by 1.1 percentage points to 7.2%, with Apple remaining in the fourth position when it comes to smartphone sales.</p>

<p>Apple Music ranks highest among the streaming music brands included in the J.D. Power 2016 Streaming Music Satisfaction Study with an overall score of 834. Apple leads with the highest score in three of the six measures, performing particularly well in performance and reliability, content and ease of use. Rhapsody ranks second with an overall score of 826 and performs particularly well in the cost of service and communication measures.</p>

<p>Apple has boosted its part and component orders for iPhone 7 devices, with order visibility for the fourth quarter 20-30% higher than expected,<a href="http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20160928PD203.html"> reports Digitimes</a>, citing sources from Taiwan-based touch panel makers TPK Holding and General Interface Solution (GIS).</p>

<p>Apple has consistently said it won’t release a touchscreen Mac. After test driving the $199 <a target="_blank" href="http://www.touchscreen.co.th/goods.php?id=9" rel="noopener noreferrer">Zorro Macsk</a>, I think that’s the right decision, at least for now. Described as the “first touchscreen for an iMac,” the solution has been around for a couple of years for a 21-inch Apple desktop, but now there’s a Macsk for the 27-inch all-in-one. </p>

<p>A new piece of Mac malware, dubbed Komplex, has been <a href="http://researchcenter.paloaltonetworks.com/2016/09/unit42-sofacys-komplex-os-x-trojan/">discovered by Palo Alto Networks</a>. This malware provides a backdoor into the system, like most other recent Mac malware.</p>

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.aetna.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Aetna</a> will give some customers and employees discounts on the Apple Watch. Beginning this fall, the health care benefits company will make the Apple smartwatch available to select large employers and individual customers during open enrollment season.</p>

<p>DJI has launched the Mavic Pro, the company’s first personal drone designed to be taken just about anywhere. Small enough to toss in a bag and easy enough to launch quickly whenever the time and place are right, its folding design compresses the entire drone to practically the size of a water bottle.</p>

<p>Honeywell’s new Lyric T5 Wi-Fi thermostat is the latest of the company’s home products to have Apple HomeKit compatibility for control using voice with Siri, or the new Apple Home app in iOS 10. HomeKit is a framework that allows control of compatible home automation devices through iOS and Siri.</p>

<p>Customer satisfaction with personal computers halts a three-year slide, according to new data from the <a href="http://www.theacsi.org/">American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI)</a>. The ACSI Household Appliance and Electronics Report 2016 includes desktops, laptops, and tablet computers, as well as household appliances, televisions and computer software.</p>
