<p>Caleb Sasser, the co-founder of Panic, which makes macOS and iOS apps, <a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/cabel/status/940669442165415936" rel="noopener noreferrer">has tweeted</a> that the iMac Pro features some new Apple custom silicon: the T2 chip, which makes it the most secure Mac desktop ever.</p>

<p>I don’t think this is true, but if it is it’s one of the dumbest moves Apple could make: Apple is preparing to end music download offerings on the iTunes Store, perhaps within two years.</p>
