<p>I’m tired, very tired, as I write this at 8:30 a.m. (Central). I was up at 2 a.m. (Central) to order an iPhone 7 Plus and an Apple Watch Nike+. I though the process would be simple since was up and at ‘em so early. I was wrong.</p>

<p>No, Apple isn’t entering the shoe business (at least as far as I know), but the company did make a pair of kicks in the 1990s. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/ebay-watch-apple-branded-tennis-shoes-sell-for-79#disqus_thread" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apparently only one </a>pair of the sneakers were ever produced. I think some Apple branded shoes would be cool as part of an “iWear” line.</p>

<p>Belkin has announced the Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar adapter for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Developed closely with Apple, it plugs into the Lightning connector making it possible to use Lightning Audio headphones or the Apple Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter and charge your iPhone at the same time.</p>

<p>Apple has released the “golden master” public betas of macOS Sierra and iOS 10 to public beta testers. A golden master is a final version of software ready for release to manufacturing.</p>

<p>With yesterday’s announcement of the iPhone 7/7Plus, there are various price changes on older models, sales in the UK, and AppleCare+ you should know about.</p>

<p>Apple says it’s confident that the new iPhone 7 — which is available for pre-order starting tomorrow — will be a hot seller. The company has historically provided pre-order sales volume, though now it says considers it "no longer a representative metric" since "initial sales will be governed by supply, not demand."</p>

<p>The XCOM 2 Reinforcement Pack is now available at the Mac App Store. Owners of the $49.99 strategy game <a target="_blank" href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/xcom-2/id1070220144?mt=12" rel="noopener noreferrer">XCOM 2</a> can now upgrade their XCOM army and play new narrative-based missions with the Reinforcement Pack, now available as an in-app purchase.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.fuel-3d.com/">Fuel3D</a>, a 3D capture and imaging company, has updated its Fuel3D Studio software. In addition to several new features, the software is now available for OS X, making <a href="https://www.fuel-3d.com/scanify/">SCANIFY</a>, the company’s high speed 3D scanner, available to Mac users for the first time.</p>

<p>Apple has filed for a patent (number 20160255944) for for “dynamic fit adjustment for wearable electronic devices.” If the invention ever sees the light of day, we could have Apple Watches that allow users to “dynamically adjust” the wearable device’s watchband without having to remove it.</p>

<p>Ireland's government won strong backing from parliament for its appeal against a €13B (about $14.5 billion) back tax bill the European Commission ordered it to collect from Apple, following 12 hours of debate on Wednesday.</p>
