CIRP: U.S. iPhone activations up 10 points in quarter four of 2017

<p>New data from CIRP — as noted by <em><a target="_blank" href="https://9to5mac.com/2018/01/16/iphone-activations-q4-2017/" rel="noopener noreferrer">9to5Mac</a></em> -- indicates that Apple increased its U.S. iPhone activations 10 points in the final quarter of the year, from a 29% share in the September quarter to a 39% share by December, notes the research group.</p>

Apple ‘integrated media jukebox’ patent mentions a foot mounted unit

Class action lawsuit in Israel planned against Apple, Intel, ARM over processor exploits

<p>A group of Israelis has filed a request with the Haifa District Court of Israel to file a class-action lawsuit against Apple, Intel, and ARM because of the "Spectre" and "Meltdown" <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2018/1/4/some-ios-tvos-devices-could-be-affected-by-a-chip-bug" rel="noopener noreferrer">processor exploits</a>. The six District Courts in Israel serve both as the appellate courts and also as the court of first instance for some cases (e.g. real estate or IP). </p>
