<p>Jamf, which specializes in Apple device management, has announced both compatibility and key feature support for the upcoming Apple releases of iOS, macOS and tvOS. </p>

<p>In a note to clients — as noted by<em> <a target="_blank" href="https://9to5mac.com/2018/03/26/iphone-x-plus-pricing-more/" rel="noopener noreferrer">9to5Mac</a></em> — RBC Capital analyst Amit Daryanani says the upcoming iPhone X Plus will start at $999, while the refreshed iPhone X itself will start at $899 (a drop of $100).</p>

<p>Apple Music executive Jimmy Iovine told the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-43515185" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>BBC</em></a> that streaming services are too similar - and need to diversify to survive. He added that Apple’s streaming service needs more original content. </p>

<p>Producers and entertainment executives who have met recently with Apple executives said the company has been leaning toward TV programming in keeping with its “bright, optimistic brand identity” and that the high giant will begin rolling out its slate of online programming somewhere between March 2019 and the summer of that year, reports <a target="_blank" href="https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/25/business/media/apple-hollywood-streaming.html" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>The New York Times</em></a>.</p>

<p>Japanese language blog Macotakara — as noted by <a target="_blank" href="https://appleinsider.com/articles/18/03/26/rumor-apple-preps-new-iphone-x-color-refreshed-97-inch-ipad-arriving-in-q3" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>AppleInsider</em> </a>—claims Apple may introduce a new gold iPhone X color to reinvigorate sales amid seasonal declines. </p>

<p>Apple is holding <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2018/3/16/apple-plans-education-event-in-chicago-on-march-27?rq=March%2027" rel="noopener noreferrer">an educational event</a> in Chicago at 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday, March 27, to present “creative new ideas for teachers and students.” <strong>Here’s what I think we’ll see:</strong></p>

<p>In 2017 revenues from recorded music in the U.S. increased 16.5% at an estimated retail value to $8.7 billion, continuing the growth from the previous year. These increases came primarily from growth in paid music subscriptions to services like Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, Tidal, Pandora and others, which grew by more than 50%, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.riaa.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">RIAA</a>), the trade organization that supports and promotes the creative and financial vitality of the major music companies.</p>

<p>Ireland <a target="_blank" href="https://www.reuters.com/article/us-eu-apple-taxavoidance/ireland-chooses-investment-firms-to-manage-apple-cash-idUSKBN1GZ1PW?feedType=RSS&feedName=technologyNews&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+reuters%2FtechnologyNews+%28Reuters+Technology+News%29" rel="noopener noreferrer">has chosen the investment firms</a> it wants to collect $18.5 billion  in disputed back taxes from Apple.</p>

<p>Bank of America Merrill Lynch says Apple is working with its Asian partners on a foldable phone for 2020, reports <a target="_blank" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/23/apple-is-working-on-a-foldable-iphone-for-release-in-2020-says-bank-of-america.html?__source=twitter%7Cmain" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>CNBC</em></a>.</p>
