<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">As you might expect, there’s a plethora of new cases coming for Apple’s new iPhones. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple execs didn’t mention it onstage during today’s “By Innovation Only” event, but release dates for its operating system updates were hidden in various press releases.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has introduced the new seventh-generation iPad, bringing more screen area and support for the full-sized Smart Keyboard to its most popular iPad. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The Apple Arcade game streaming service will arrive on Thursday, Sept.19, and cost $4.99 per month. Apple will offer a one-month trial period.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has announced three new medical studies that will be available on a new Research app that “democratizes how medical research is conducted by bringing together academic medical institutions, healthcare organizations and the Apple products customers already make a part of their everyday life,” according to Apple Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has announced the Apple Watch Series 5, debuting an Always-On Retina display, making it easier to see the time and other important info without having to raise or tap the screen.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has finally given details on Apple TV+, its all-original video subscription service and home for today’s most imaginative storytellers. It will launch Nov. 1 in over 100 countries and regions at only $4.99/per month.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Apple will introduce its own tracking device, possibly dubbed “Apple Tag,” at today’s “By Innovation Only” event. A new patent filing (number 10,410,485) hints that this could indeed happen.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple and Foxconn, one of its manufacturing partners, confirm that the latter violated a Chinese labor rule by using too many temporary staff in the world’s largest iPhone factory, reports <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-09-09/apple-foxconn-broke-a-chinese-labor-law-for-iphone-production" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Bloomberg.</em></a></p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The Federal Circuit on Friday <a href="https://www.law360.com/technology/articles/1196241/fed-circ-backs-apple-s-win-in-speaker-patent-fight?attachments=true&nl_pk=ade0cf2b-ea3f-464b-bc93-d8e19277ac63&read_more=1&utm_campaign=technology&utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">upheld a victory</a> for Apple in a suit brought by a theater sound company, leaving in place a lower court decision that the smartphone giant didn’t infringe patents for speaker technology.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">I had really looked forward to Apple’s AirPower wireless charger, which <a href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2019/3/29/goodbye-airpower-we-hardly-knew-you-well-actually-we-didnt-know-you?rq=AirPower">turned out to be vaporware</a>.
