<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Already missing iTunes, which is <a href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2019/6/3/macos-catalina-breaks-up-itunes-will-add-sidecar-and-more" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">being broken up</a> into three separate apps on the Mac starting with the upcoming macOS Catalina? No worries. iTunes is alive — on Windows, at least, as noted by <a href="https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2019/06/answers-to-some-of-your-itunes-questions-old-libraries-windows-and-more/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>ars technic</em>a</a>.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Another day, another lawsuit. Two iOS developers <a href="https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hbsslaw.com%2Fcases%2Fapple-ios-app-developers&esheet=51993569&newsitemid=20190604005763&lan=en-US&anchor=hit+Apple+with+a+class-action+lawsuit&index=1&md5=ef73a2d8754385211423e526e01caa06" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">hit Apple with a class-action lawsuit</a> claiming the tech giant has cornered the iOS app market with its App Store and knowingly used its monopoly to implement “profit-killing” commissions and fees on the very developers who bring Apple’s products to life, according to attorneys at Hagens Berman.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Let the Apple Car rumors continue to roll. Apple has been granted a patent (number 10,309,132) for a “passenger vehicle and door structure.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Great minds think alike. In a <a href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2019/6/4/where-are-the-apple-displays-for-the-rest-of-us" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">blog post today,</a> I asked, “Where are the Apple displays for the rest of us?” Now there’s a new petition asking Apple to “make an affordable Mac external display.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">I was really hoping for a new Apple display that could be used with Apple’s Mac laptops and the 2018 Mac mini would debut at the Worldwide Developer Conference. It didn’t.</p>

To the delight of pro users, Apple introduced the all-new <a href="https://www.apple.com/mac-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mac Pro</a>, a completely redesigned workstation for pros at today’s Worldwide Developer Conference. It also unveiled the <a href="https://www.apple.com/pro-display-xdr/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple Pro Display XDR</a>, which I have to admit is pricier than I anticipated.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">At today’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote, Apple gave us a sneak peak at the upcoming <a href="https://www.apple.com/macos/catalina-preview/">macOS Catalina</a>, the latest version of its desktop operating system. The upgrade will replace iTunes with Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple TV apps.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple previewed <a href="https://www.apple.com/ios/ios-13-preview/">iOS 13</a> at today’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote. The operating system update introduces a new look with Dark Mode and new ways to browse and edit photos, sign in to apps and websites, and navigate the world with an all-new map. </p>

It builds on the same foundation as iOS, adding new capabilities and features specific to the large display and versatility of the tablet.</p>

It empowers Apple Watch users to better manage their health and fitness, and gives access to dynamic new watch faces and the App Store directly on Apple Watch, according to Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">At today’s Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple previewed tvOS 13, the operating system for its Apple TV 4K set-top box. The latest version gains an immersive new Home screen; multi-user support for customers to access their own TV shows, movies, music and recommendations; support for Apple Arcade; expanded game controller support; and new 4K HDR screen savers filmed under the sea.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">European Union (EU) regulators will decide what steps to take regarding Spotify’s complaint about Apple once they get a response from the iPhone maker, Europe’s antitrust chief says.</p>
