<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The Society for Information Display (SID) has announced the winners of its 25th annual Display Industry Awards. Apple’s LTPO OLED display for the Apple Watch Series 4 is among the winners.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has finalized a short list of locations for its first retail store in India, reports <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-05-08/apple-preps-push-in-india-with-short-list-for-first-retail-store" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Bloomberg</em></a>, quoting unnamed “people familiar with the plans.” The article adds that the tech giant has narrowed its list down to several upscale sites in Mumbai, and plans to make a final decision in the next few weeks.</p>

The tech giant will almost certainly preview the new operating systems at next month’s Worldwide Developer Conference.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The global laptop market revenue is anticipated to reach $108.91 billion by 2025, according to a study by <a href="http://www.grandviewresearh.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Grand View Research. </a>The research group says this growth will progress at a compound annual growth rate [CAGR] of 0.4% during the forecast period.</p>
