Apple patent filing involves a ‘vehicle viewing system’

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Let the Apple Car rumors roll on. Apple has filed for a patent (number 10,306,289) for a “vehicle viewing system.” It involves a method that  includes obtaining a video based on images detected with cameras mounted on a vehicle and displaying a portion of the video corresponding to a time offset and a viewing angle.</p>

Gartner: iPhone sales decline 17.6% year-over-year in first quarter

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Global sales of smartphones to end users declined 2.7% in the first quarter of 2019, totaling 373 million units, according to <a href="http://www.gartner.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Gartner, Inc</a>. Despite its absence from the U.S., Huawei maintained its ranking as the No. 2 smartphone vendor worldwide and continued to reduce the gap with Samsung, according to the research group.</p>

Pegatron plans to invest millions in chip factory for iPhones and, possibly, MacBooks

Nomad Base Station Apple Watch Edition packs plenty of wireless charging air power

Lawsuit claims Apple sells personal info about iTunes purchases

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Another day, another lawsuit. <a href="https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/info-tech/apple-accused-of-selling-itunes-customers-data/article27246661.ece" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Bloomberg</em> reports</a> that Apple is being sued by customers who say the tech giant is unlawfully disclosing and selling personal info about their iTunes purchases as well as their personal data, despite the company’s advertising claim that “What happens on your iPhone. stays on your iPhone.”</p>
