<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has been granted yet another patent (number 10,499,043) for the rumored “Apple Glasses.” The head-mounted augmented reality/virtual reality device is predicted to arrive — depending on which source you believe — in 2020, 2021, or 2022.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has paid $25 million for the rights to a Billie Eilish documentary that will be shown on Apple TV+ and follows the 17-year-old singer-songwriter's life after the release of her debut album in March, reports The Hollywood Reporter. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Forget AirDrop. Apple wants iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches to be able to exchange data when they're pointed at each other — a virtual "handshake" if you wil. The company has filed for a patent (number 20190372668) for “device awareness in line-of-sight optical communication systems.” </p>

Roberto de Jesus Escobar Gaviria, the brother of Narcos fame drug lord, Pablo Escobar, told Digital Trends that he will file a $30 billion class-action lawsuit on Jan. 6, 2020 in California, against Apple for accumulating illegal profits. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">California Supreme Court justices are expressing concerns with forcing Apple to pay its store employees for the time they spend undergoing bag checks, with one justice saying workers regularly choose to bring personal bags to work and that it seems "odd" to require Apple to pay them for checking items, reports Law360 (a subscription is required to read the entire article).</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple wants future Apple Watches to be able to help diagnose, even treat, Parkinson’s and other related illnesses. The company has filed for a patent (number 20190366286) for “passive tracking of dyskinesia/tremor symptoms.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Future Apple Watches may be able to tell if you're indoors or outdoors. Apple has filed for a patent (number 20190368884) dubbed “indoor/outdoor detection using a wearable computer.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The 27-inch display on the LG UltraFine 5K — which is 18.3 inches high, 24.6 inches wide, 9.4 inches deep, and weighs 18.7 pounds — is gorgeous. It boasts a 5120-by-2880 resolution, 14.7 million pixels, P3 wide color gamut, and 500 cd/m² of brightness. Unfortunately, the monitor’s body itself lacks the Apple aesthetic, looking clunky compared to most of the tech giant's products.</p>
