<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Another day, another lawsuit. <a href="https://appleinsider.com/articles/19/08/26/apple-tsmc-google-more-sued-by-globalfoundries-over-chip-connectivity-patents" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">AppleInsider </a>reports that a company called Globalfoundries has filed multiple lawsuits against Apple, TSMC (a chip manufacturer), Google, and others for allegedly infringing 16 patents. The lawsuits have been filed in both U.S. and German courts.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple wants your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch to work better in the rain. The tech giant has been granted a patent (number 10,386,965) for “finger tracking in a wet environment.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple’s iPadOS 13, which will probably be released in September, will come with lmited mouse support. With that in mind, I’ve had the opportunity to test drive Tap, a wearable keyboard and mouse that lets you text, control or create custom inputs for any Bluetooth-supported device by simply tapping on any available surface.  </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">According to the latest research from <a href="https://www.strategyanalytics.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Strategy Analytics</a>, the average Apple smartphone has been active for 18 months and 16.5 months for Samsung. The research group says the U.S. smartphone replacement cycle has lengthened to 33 months despite strong interest in 5G.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Bose has announced the <a href="https://c212.net/c/link/?t=0&l=en&o=2559786-1&h=970033751&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bose.com%2Fen_us%2Fproducts%2Fspeakers%2Fsmart_home%2Fbose-portable-home-speaker.html&a=Bose%C2%AE+Portable+Home+Speaker" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Bose Portable Home Speaker</a>, a compact speaker that combines battery power, Bluetooth, and voice control. It will be available in Triple Black and Luxe Silver on Sept. 19 for $34</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple Music has debuted a new curated playlist dubbed  <a href="https://music.apple.com/playlist/new-music-daily/pl.2b0e6e332fdf4b7a91164da3162127b5?mt=1&app=music&at=10l3Qe" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">“New Music Daily”</a> that’s updated every day.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The <a href="https://www.green-e.org" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) </a>is expanding its Green-e certification program to renewable energy projects based in Asia, starting with pilot projects from Apple in Singapore and Taiwan. This program and the successful pilots are designed to make it easier for other companies to certify their renewable energy use in the region.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;"><a href="https://www.macquarietelecom.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Macquarie Telecom</a> has announced that it will deploy mobility solutions for Apple devices such as the iPhone and iPad  to Australian mid-market enterprises. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has been granted another patent (number 20190261102) for “remotely controlling a hearing device.” It involves replacing a current hearing aid profile stored in a hearing aid. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;"><a href="https://mediacentre.britishairways.com/pressrelease/details/86/2019-319/11465?ref=Home" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">British Airways says</a> every member of its 15,000 cabin crew will receive an iPhone XR in latest phase of multi-million pounds investment in technology and training. New phones are part of initiative to empower cabin crew to deliver personalized customer service to customers.</p>
