<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Last week AirPods Pro joined the AirPods family with Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, sweat and water resistance, and superior, immersive sound, in an all-new lightweight, in-ear design. After five days of use, I’ve found them to be very impressive. </p>

<p class="">iOS 12 and iOS 13 come with a Measure app that allows you to draw (virtual) straight lines to measure objects and surfaces both vertically and horizontally using your iPhone or iPad camera, and automatically detect dimensions of rectangular objects. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has filed for yet another patent (number 20190324503) for an “electronic device with a wraparound display” that hints at possible future incarnations of the iPhone and/or the iPad.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple TV+ launched today, and Disney+ is launching on Nov 12. These two companies are reshaping the video streaming industry as we know it. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has added another five games to its Apple Arcade, game streaming service that costs $4.99 per month.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple TV+, Apple’s streaming service, has launched in more than 100 countries and regions around the world at launch. Content is subtitled and/or dubbed in 40 languages; closed captions and audio descriptions in eight languages. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">According to <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-10-31/apple-names-five-vps-including-return-of-early-iphone-executive" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Bloomberg</a>, Apple promoted several executives to vice president, “a key title at the company reserved for the most influential players.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">In October, iOS had 29.17% of the mobile operating market, compared to 29.13% in September. Android remains dominate with 69.71% of the market.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Is there such a thing as a "power user" note-taker? Sure there is, and he/she is the user for whom Tropical Software developed TopXNotes, a note pad utility for the Mac. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;"><a href="http://www.hylamobile.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">HYLA Mobile</a>, a provider of software technology and services for mobile device returns management and reuse solutions, has announced findings from its third quarter 2019 trade-in trends report. The report reveals that over $637 million was returned to U.S. consumers in the quarter via trade-in programs—an increase of nearly 40% from the previous quarter.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;"><a href="https://www.macsurfer.com/redir.php?u=1146635">DigiTimes</a> Research says Apple’s rumored 16-inch MacBook Pro is expected to begin volume shipments in the fourth quarter. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Here’s yet another patent filing (number 20190331919) involving the “Apple Glasses,” Apple’s rumored augmented reality/virtual reality head-mounted display (HMD). It’s dubbed “head-mounted device with active optical foveation.” A foveated display is a display that moves along with the eye.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple seems to be considering another wearable device planned in addition to the Apple Watch. The company has filed for another patent — one of at least five — for an “expandable ring device.”</p>
