<p>C Spire has introduced C Spire TV, a new, in-home streaming TV service that eliminates the need for set-top boxes. It’s compatible with the Apple TV, Android TV and Amazon Fire TV (Roku support is in the works).</p>

<p>Future Macs may “wake up” when they detect your presence and take action based on exactly where you are. Apple has filed for a patent (number 20170193282) for “presence sensing.”</p>

<p>Nikkei <a target="_blank" href="http://asia.nikkei.com/Business/AC/Apple-to-use-OLED-screens-in-all-new-iPhones-launching-in-2H18-sources" rel="noopener noreferrer">sources</a> suggest that Apple will use OLED screens in all 2018 iPhones. Those sources say that the tech giant has tentative plans to release three phone models next year and that all will feature OLED.</p>

<p>Apple will announce its 2017 third fiscal quarter earnings on Tuesday, Aug. 1, after the market closes. The earnings conference call will start after the market closes (about 2 p.m. Pacific Time).</p>

<p>Apple has released the sixth iOS 10.3.3 beta and the sixth macOS 10.12.6 beta. They’re available in both developer and public betas. </p>

<p>Apple is working on a solution for publishers that send their articles and content to its News app but so far have gotten very little in return, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://adage.com/article/digital/apple-explores-ways-publishers-sell-ads-news-app/309644/" rel="noopener noreferrer">AdAge</a>, quoting unnamed “people familiar with the plans.”</p>

<p>Bomb Defense has been released as one of the first games through the new Steam Direct program that replaced Steam Greenlight. The game is <a target="_blank" href="http://www.bit.ly/2tsTDwf" rel="noopener noreferrer">now available </a>for Mac, Windows and Linux systems for $3.99 until July 12. After this date, it will be $4.99. </p>
