<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The follow-up to Apple’s iPhone SE 2 will be dubbed the “iPhone 9” rather than the “iPhone SE 2," according to Japanese blog Mac Otakara — as noted by MacRumors.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The iPad gets a productivity boost with iPadOS thanks to such features as the ability to open multiple apps in Split View.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has been granted yet another patent (number 10,499,043) for the rumored “Apple Glasses.” The head-mounted augmented reality/virtual reality device is predicted to arrive — depending on which source you believe — in 2020, 2021, or 2022.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has paid $25 million for the rights to a Billie Eilish documentary that will be shown on Apple TV+ and follows the 17-year-old singer-songwriter's life after the release of her debut album in March, reports The Hollywood Reporter. </p>

Apple wants iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches to be able to exchange data when they're pointed at each other — a virtual "handshake" if you wil. The company has filed for a patent (number 20190372668) for “device awareness in line-of-sight optical communication systems.” </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">In a note to clients — as seen by 9to5Mac — analyst Ming-Chi Kuo forecasts that Apple will roll out four 5G iPhone 12 models next year.</p>
