Apple patent involves an operational safety mode for an automobile

Apple has filed for a patent (number 20190356614) for operational safety mode that manages the output of notifications at an electronic device when a user of the device is operating a vehicle. It would seem to involve the current and future iterations of the “Do Not Disturb” feature of the iPhone.</p>

News round-up: Analyst says some 2020 iPhones will pack 6GB of RAM (and more)

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">In a note to clients — as noted by <a href="http://MacRumors.com"><span style="text-decoration:underline">MacRumors.com</span></a> — Barclays analyst Blayne Curtis predicts the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will likely have 6GB of RAM, up from 4GB in the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. They also expect both models to feature rear-facing 3D sensing and mmWave support for higher-performance 5G. </p>

AirPod shipments expected to double this year
