Apple updates age rating settings in App Store Connect

In a note on its developer site, Apple tells developers of new age rating settings options in App Store Connect regarding apps with gambling and contest content.

App Store Connect, formerly known as iTunes Connect, is a suite of web-based tools for managing content sold on iTunes, the iBooks Store, and the various app stores. It lets developers upload, submit, and manage your apps on the web or on iOS. The suite of tools also lets them view sales reports, access app analytics, invite users to test your apps with TestFlight, and more.

Here’s what Apple says about the new age rating setting: To help you describe your app’s content more precisely, the age rating settings in App Store Connect have been refined. The Gambling and Contests setting is now split into two settings, allowing you to indicate these content types separately. They’re also indicated separately on the App Store.
