Apple TV+’s ‘Dark Matter’ top’s Reelgood’s list of the most streamed TV shows

“Dark Matter,” the sci-fi mystery show on Apple TV+, comes in fourth on the streaming guide Reelgood’s list of the top streaming TV shows/movies for May 30-June 5. 

Dark Matter,” the newest sci-fi mystery show on Apple TV+, claims the top spot on the streaming guide Reelgood’s list of the top streaming TV shows for May 9-15.

In second place, “Fallout,” the post-apocalyptic video game adaptation, holds strong after five consecutive weeks in Reelgood’s top 10. Following closely is “Bodkin,” a new Netflix series produced by Barack and Michelle Obama, featuring a trio of true-crime podcasters solving a mystery in Ireland.

The rest of the top 10 features a mix of fan favorites and exciting newcomers, including: “Baby Reindeer“: the popular mystery Netflix show;  “The Iron Claw“, the le true story of the Von Erich family’s rise in the wrestling world, starring Zac Efron; and “Rise of the Planet of the Apes“: the 2011 film of the “Planet of the Apes” franchise.

Here’s how “Dark Matter” s is described: The series follows Jason Dessen (played by Joel Edgerton), a physicist, professor and family man who — one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago — is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. In this labyrinth of realities, he embarks on a harrowing journey to get back to his true family and save them from the most terrifying, unbeatable foe imaginable: himself.
