Apple Daily Report: Apple offers a new iCloud offer for new users (and more news)

Apple appears to be partnering with all four of the big U.S. carriers with a new iCloud introductory offer. Customers upgrading their iPhone plans get recommended to visit a special iCloud link (first discovered on this Reddit thread), which lets customers get 2 free months of the 200 GB iCloud tier, ostensibly to “get ready for your new iPhone.”

Subscribers of Apple Music may soon get the chance to listen to music through the streaming service via Android Auto, after the discovery that a beta for the Android version of the app enables support for Google’s competitor to Apple’s CarPlay. 

Mac Gamer HQ has posted an update to their 25 Best Mac games of 2018 guide. They reviewed all of the best games released in the past few months and made some big changes to their initial list.

Fifty-four percent of U.S. teens say they spend too much time on their cellphones, and two-thirds of parents express concern over their teen’s screen time, according to a new study by the Pew Research Center.

An industry lobbying group whose members include Apple, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Samsung and others has been “aggressively” lobbying the White House to argue the case for a federal privacy law, reports the New York Times.
