Messages offers a convenient way to share attachments. If you lose track of one and want to locate it again. It’s easy. Here’s how:
- Open the message that has/had the attachment.
- Tap the name of the contact at the top of the message. If you’re using iOS 14 or earlier, or iPadOS, tap the Info button.
- You’ll see Photos and Links. Touch and hold an image or attachment to show options like Save, Copy, Share, and Delete. (This how-to is based on my experiences and info on Apple’s support pages — where the images sometimes come from.)
