Notable apps and updates: September 21

macOS

Pepite Studios SAS has introduced Peppy’s Adventure, its debut title available on Steam for macOS, Windows, and Linux systems.

It’s a one-screen, top-down, action-puzzle game controlled with directional inputs. You play as Peppy, a bun-shaped bunny, on his journey to rescue the village younglings from the clutches of the Hooded Fox. As you pursue his airship from world to world, you will have to solve your way through short challenging levels as fast as possible.

One the Mac, Peppy’s Adventures require macOS 10.16, or later. It costs US$10.79 for a limited time. The initial game release will feature 6 worlds and 126 levels. New worlds will be added as free updates on a regular basis until completion of the storyline.

iOS

Spiritual Me has announced Spiritual Me 2.0, a complete redesign of its mobile app.

It guides users through exercises that enable them to practice meditation while being inspired by nature, art and scripture. Spiritual Me asks users to select their current emotions and then guides them through breathing and stretching exercise to mindfulness activities.

Version 2.0 is free to download (though it does tout in-app purchases) and offers five new themes with the first one unlocked. It requires iOS or iPadOS 14 or higher.

Omni says all its apps have been updated for iOS 15 and iPadOS 15. They include OmniFocus 3.11.7, OmniGraffle 3.16, OmniOutliner 3.8, and OmniPlan 4.1. Click here for details.
