macOS
Tropical Software has announced 2Remember 1.3 Universal for Big Sur and Apple Silicon, an update to their reminder app for macOS.
The utility offers a way to incorporate simple task management with reminders into your daily Mac life. It takes only a tiny space on your screen, but has numerous options for reminders, including flashing icon on dock, flashing tab red, alert and sound.
2Remember 1.3 requires macOS 10.9 or higher. It costs US$4.99 and is available at the Mac App Store.
iOS/iPadOS
Stehlik & Co. has served up KitchenPad Timer – Timer for Cooking and Baking 4.0.11, an update to their stove and oven timer app for iOS devices.
The utility allows cooks to take back control of their stove, oven, and grill, as well as mealtime by managing multiple cook times for their oven, stovetop, and grill. Version 4.0.11 adds several new languages, as well as performance enhancements.
KitchenPad Timer requires iOS 14. It costs $2.99 and is available at the Apple App Store. It also offers $0.99 in-app purchases to unlock the appliance pack and white appliance packs.
Microsoft has updated its suite of Office apps for the iPad, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excel for iPad now supports Split View, which allows you to open two spreadsheets simultaneously side-by-side to view and edit. The apps are available at the Apple App Store.
