CLCKR has previewed two new mobile phone car mounts for the 2021 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that runs Jan. 11-141: the Prong and the 3M mount.
CLCKR’s US$14.99 Prong Car Mount attaches to most standard air vents on a vehicle’s dashboard, allowing drivers to view their device for GPS directions. The mount uses a magnetic design featuring a money-style silver clip that slides onto the user’s existing CLCKR case or Universal grip and stays in place until removed. The CLCKR clip then magnetically attaches to the mount clipped onto the vehicle’s air vent. This design eliminates the need for sticky or bulky magnets and offers a removable solution.
For vehicles without traditional air vents, the CLCKR 3M Car Mount features a sticky side that allows the mount to be attached to the dashboard, purportedly without leaving behind any sticky residue. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but both mounts are slated to ship in February.
