This team has a proven track record, having designed and delivered the Dot Headset on Indiegogo two years ago. With the Touch earbuds, the company has removed the tiny buttons on the Dot and replaced them with a touch-sensitive surface. In addition, they’ve added Bluetooth 4.2 and a redesigned RF module, meaning that this set of buds will have industry leading range and stability.
The Touch earbuds will sell for $199 when they hit the market, but you can pre-register on Indiegogo now and get them for $99. In fact, if you happen to be one of the first 20 backers, you’ll get Touch for $1!
Having reviewed the Dot Headset, I can vouch for the sound quality of these earbuds. Two years of experience and the new technology mean that the Touch earbuds will be a vast improvement on those earlier buds.
