HITCASE PRO 2.0 knocks it out of the Kickstarter park; impressive case/mount/lens system

Just when I thought I’d seen every iPhone case on the market, HITCASE decided to come out with a case that pretty much does everything. The HITCASE PRO 2.0 (pre-order, CA$99 to CA$299 depending on the accessories you pick) is waterproof to 33 feet (10m), shockproof for drops up to 16 feet (5m), and works on the iPhone 6/6s/7/7 Plus. But that’s just the start of this case system, which quickly bypassed its goal of CA$50,000 on Kickstarter and is expected to start shipping later this month.

HITCASE PRO 2.0 also comes with a Railslide mount system that works with six different HITCASE mounts and is also GoPro mount compatible. Planning on free solo climbing El Capitan? You’ll need both hands free, which is why you might want the adventure pack that comes with ChestR mount. There are suction cup mounts, a StickR case mount, and even a lanyard mount called the FloatR that will keep your iPhone floating if you lose your grip on it while swimming or kayaking.

The protection of the case and the many mounts aren’t everything. The HITCASE PRO 2 comes with up to three different waterproof, anti-reflective TrueLUX lenses — SuperWide, Wide and Macro — so it also turns your iPhone into a great camera.

We’ll have a full review of the HITCASE PRO 2 coming up soon on Apple World Today.
