Apple’s Luca Maestri is the second highest paid CFO in Silicon Valley

Apple’s Luca Maestri is the second highest paid chief financial officer n Silicon Valley, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal. His total annual compensation is US$25.34 million with a base salary of $1 million. Annual compensation includes options, bonuses and other pay.

Maestri only trails Ruth Porat of Alphabet. She has a total compensation of $31.05 million with a base salary of $395,000.

Also in the top 10, in descending order, are: Jason Wheeler of Tesla Motors (compensation of $20.9 million with a base salary of $46,154), David Wehner of Facebook (compensation of $16.79 million with a base salary of $665,385), Ken Goldman of Yahoo )compensation of $14.95 million with a base salary of $600,000), John Rainey of PayPal (compensation of $10.68 million with a base salary of $212,500), Scott Schenkel of eBay (compensation of $9.57 million with a base salary of $621,154), Blake Jorgensen of Electronic Arts (compensation of $8.86 million with a base salary of $756,538), Kelly Kramer of Cisco (compensation of $8.47 million with a base salary of $632,866), and Its Brennan of Arista Networks (compensation of $7.93 million with a base salary of $189,231).

The Business Journal data comes from Equilar, an executive compensation research firm — which gathered information from Summary Compensation Tables provided in each company’s proxy statement. Total compensation for each CFO is calculated as the sum of base salary, bonuses, stock and option awards, and other compensation which is usually made up of benefits and perquisites.
