With iPhone Mirroring, you can wirelessly interact with your iPhone and its apps and notifications from your Mac. Your iPhone stays locked, so no one else can access it or use it to see what you’re doing.
You can resize the iPhone Mirroring window in macOS 27. Let’s look at how to do this.
How to Resize the Window
- Drag to Resize: Move your pointer to any corner or edge of the iPhone Mirroring window until the cursor turns into a double arrow, then click and drag to your desired size.
- Use Preset Sizes via Menu Bar: Go to View in the top menu bar and select Larger, Smaller, or Actual Size.
- Use Keyboard Shortcuts:
- Press Command–Plus sign (+) or Command–Minus sign (–) to adjust the size.
- Press Command–0 to switch to Actual Size.
- Press Command–9 to return to the standard iPhone size.
How Resizing Works by App
- Resizable Apps: Apps like Weather, Photos, Mail, Messages, and Calendar show more information or switch to a multi-pane/wide layout (similar to iPad views) when you make the window wider.
- Non-Resizable Apps or Home Screen: When using the Home Screen, App Switcher, or an app that does not support custom resizing, the interface scales larger or smaller as you drag.
- Saving Size: If you resize a supported app, it will automatically reopen at that size the next time you use it in iPhone Mirroring.
