Yesterday Apple CEO John Ternus admitted that there’s no timeline for when Apple will catch up to demand for the iPhone Duo with arrival times now stretching into late January. However, that’s not the only product facing constraints.
During the Apple conference call for its fourth quarter financial results, Apple said there will be constraints across the board on Mac and iPad availability, running all the way through the Christmas period. The main culprit of course is the ongoing global memory crisis, which is not only limiting the availability of products but also raising prices.
Currently — as noted by AppleInsider — the Mac Studio has wait times going between 7 week to 8 weeks for the M5 Ultra Edition, ranging up to 10 weeks to 12 weeks for the same model with 512GB of RAM. Some models of the new non-touch 14-inch MacBook Pro have a ten business day delivery time with the Nano-texture display.
