Escape: Immersion has launched on Steam for macOS, Windows, Linux, and SteamOS.

Royal Games and AzDimension have released Escape: Immersion, a 2.5D horror adventure, on Steam for Windows, macOS, Linux, and SteamOS. A free playable demo is available.

Here’s how the game is described: Escape: Immersion takes players into a collapsing underwater military base where flooded corridors, failing lights, environmental hazards, and an unseen presence turn every section of the facility into a threat. Players awaken without memories and must navigate the base, solve environmental puzzles, evade deadly traps, and piece together their past before time runs out. The game draws inspiration from titles such as Inside and Little Nightmares.

The experience blends 2.5D exploration and platforming with survival sequences built around observation, timing, and quick reactions. The journey moves through flooded areas, damaged sections of the facility, and environmental traps as the base continues to fail around the player.

A VHS-inspired visual treatment and cinematic framing give Escape: Immersion its distinctive look, while environmental storytelling and psychological horror gradually reveal what happened inside the facility and why the protagonist is there. Features include:

• 2.5D traversal through a collapsing underwater military base with flooded corridors, failing lights, and hazardous sections

• Environmental puzzles, platforming, and survival sequences built around observation, timing, and quick reactions

• Deadly traps and environmental hazards that demand careful navigation through the failing facility

• VHS-inspired visuals with cinematic framing

• Psychological story centered on recovering the protagonist’s past and uncovering what happened inside the base
