° Surfshark has introduced a feature to combat increasingly sophisticated SMS-based scams. Scam text protection is designed to safeguard iOS and Android users from smishing by detecting fraudulent messages before users interact with them.
° Kate Mihevc Edwards, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Director of the Medical Team for the Atlanta Track Club Elite, has launched RunSource, an expert-filtered running health application available on iOS and Android. It’s designed to “address a fundamental gap in the running ecosystem: while many elite athletes have access to coordinated teams of physical therapists, physicians, dietitians, sports psychologists, and coaches, the recreational runner does not.”
° Anthropic has updated Claude Code so that separate coding sessions can message each other directly, removing the need to manually copy context between Terminal windows. According to Anthropic’s documentation, only text passes between sessions, not conversation history, files, or permissions.
° WeGoing!, a group-travel app that helps everyone organize, book, and split the cost of a trip without the group chat falling apart, has announced its consumer launch. It’s free on the Apple App Store for iOS devices.
° Elon Musk’s SpaceXAI has announced the launch of Grok Bot, a “team of always-on agents” that can complete tasks using tools, websites, and apps. Grok Bot can work in the cloud, so jobs keep running when your laptop is closed. The feature is tied to Cursor, the AI coding company that SpaceX is acquiring for $60 billion.
