watchOS 27 will sport improvements to heart rate tracking, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said in his latest Power On newsletter. However, he offered no details.

The update of the Apple Watch operating system isn’t expecting to make any big changes. However, it may include a simplified version of the Modular Ultra watch face for the Apple Watch Ultra, according to Gurman.

Why? The tech giant wants to tweak it so it can be used with o the non-Ultra screens of the smaller Apple Watch models. Gurman says the tweak to the Modular Ultra watch face would keep the large clock from the face design, but eliminates the ditch the complication section in the center. It would also  removes the row of three small complications that appear above the time, and the information that surrounds the bezel.

watchOS 27 will be unveiled at next month’s Worldwide Developer Conference. It, and updates to Apple’s other operating systems, will likely arrive to end users in September or October.
