It’s Alive (maybe)! Apple may add a second camera pin a redesigned iPhone Air follow-up

Apple may add a second camera pin a redesigned iPhone Air follow-up.

Yesterday The Information claimed that sales of the iPhone Air is so bad that there won’t be a sequel.

Apple had  planned to release a new ‌iPhone Air‌ in fall 2026, but now that’s not going to happen, the report said. Now the publication reports that the tech giant will redesign the thinnest ever iPhone with a second camera.

As MacRumors notes, pricing for the iPhone Air starts at US$999, and that appears to have put off customers, leading to reports of poor sales and manufacturing cuts. The Information claims some Apple engineers want to release the redesigned version with a second camera in spring 2027, which is when Apple is expected to release the regular iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e, as part of a new split launch cycle.
