A new report says AirPods Pro 3 may not be announced next week (but I think they will)

Apple has released new firmware for the AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Pro 3.

The AirPods Pro 3 are coming soon, but may not arrive next week as some expect, according to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman (a subscription is required to read the article).

However, the Sellers Research Group thinks they’ll arrive at Tuesday’s big event. New iPhones and Apple Watches will be unveiled at a special Apple event dubbed “Awe Dropping” on Tuesday, September 9 at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.

I think the AirPods Pro 3 will debut on that day, as well. And perhaps we’ll see updated AirTags. An anonymous source told 9to5Mac that the AirPods Pro 3 will indeed feature two health sensors, as anticipated. However, while heart rate sensing and temperature sensing are likely a rumored live translation feature may not arrive immediately. It could be added at a later date via a software update.

As far as other rumors about the AirPods Pro 3, they will feature a slightly smaller charging case and a capacitive pairing button, according to the leaker Majin Bu.
