Two actresses in Apple TV+’s critically panned “Argyle” are nominated for Razzie Awards, which celebrates the worst films of the year.
Actress: Bryce Dallas Howard is nominated in the Actress category, while Ariana DeBose is nominated in the Supporting Actress category for “Kraven the Hunter,” as well as “Argylle.” That said, it seems to be that the Razzie Awards have devolved into an event that’s more interested in garnering publicity than razzing the really bad films and performances of a year.
The Razzies are voted on by more than 1,200 movie buffs, film critics and journalists. You can find the complete list of nominees here.
The spy spoof “Argylle” was critically panned and bombed at the box office. It’s available for streaming on Apple TV+; check it out and see if you think it’s as bad as its rep makes it out to be.
