The MagicMountFlask is an iPhone mount, drink holder, and dog bowl all in one

The MagicMountFlask is an iPhone mount, drink holder, and dog bowl all in one.

With all the review items I receive, it’s hard to find one that really stands out as different, but Scosche’s MagicMount Flask meets that criteria.

It’s US$39.99 insulated water bottle with a built-in MagSafe compatible phone mount. The adjustable, MagSafe compatible magnetic lid easily holds an iPhone 12 and later; it works fine with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. If you have an earlier model, you can use the included MagicRing Adapter to make your smartphone MagSafe compatible.

As a phone mount, you can use the MagicMount Flash as a stand to hold your phone while listening to music or making phone calls. This is important to meet driving laws in various states. For example, in Tennessee, where I live, it’s illegal to hold your phone while driving. Hold a cellphone or mobile device with any part of the body and/or write, send or read any text-based communication and you’re subject to a stiff fine. It’s a good, practical law.

Okay, back to the MagicMount Flask. It has an adjustable angle, and it works in portrait or landscape mode. As for its water bottle features, Neodymium magnets in the mount can secure a full water bottle to a metal/magnetic surface. The Flask part of the MagicMount Flask boasts double-wall vacuum insulation for keep drinks hot for 12 hours or cold for 24 hours.

A Flip-up straw lets you sip without having to remove your phone from the mount. You can place the Flask in many vehicles’ cup holders and use the MagicMount as “merely” a hands-free phone mount.

A silicone sleeve protects the Flask; it can be removed to use as a water bowl for your dog. No, seriously.

I don’t have to travel much for work anymore, so the MagicMount Flask is a bit of overkill for me. However, if I were on the road a lot or were a long-haul truck driver like Dad was, this would be invaluable.
