Season two of ‘Down Cemetery Road’ adds 12 to its cast

Apple TV has added 12 to the Season 2 cast of its action thriller Down Cemetery Road, reports Deadline.

Martin Clunes (Doc Martin), Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk), Paterson Joseph (Wonka), Aasiya Shah (Bait), Dimitri Leonidas (Foundation), Paul Chahidi (This Country), Liz White (The Long Shadow), Amanda Abbington (Sherlock), Jeff Rawle (Drop the Dead Donkey), Ashley McGuire (Slow Horses), Amber Grappy (One Day) and Yali Topol Margalith (Alice and Steve) are joining the cast of the Mick Herron book adaptation.

Emma Thompson is exec producer and stars as Zoë Boehm opposite Ruth Wilson, who plays Sarah Tucker. Morwenna Banks (Slow Horses) is returning as lead writer and executive producer.

Here’s how season two is described: Season two reunites Zoë Boehm (Thompson) and Sarah Trafford (Wilson) chasing down another twisted mystery. After a woman falls in front of a train, Zoë is called in to investigate, but this seemingly simple case soon upends her life as she and Sarah find themselves navigating the glamorous but ruthless world of black market antiquities. Matters take a deadly turn when they stumble into the path of a brutal serial killer who will stop at nothing to cover up his crimes.
