Apple reportedly expects strong demand for the standard iPhone 18 and is preparing a large production run ahead of its anticipated spring 2027 launch. According to a new leak from “Fixed Focus Digital” — as noted by The MacObserver — production is expected to begin in late November 2026, with Apple reportedly planning to manufacture a significant number of units.
The standard (as in “non-Pro or Pro Max”) iPhone 18 is expected to arrive in early 2027. Its rollout should be accompanied by the debuts of the iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2.
A recent Reuters report indicated that Apple had reduced component orders for the iPhone 18 Pro series by at least 15% amid rising prices and memory costs. However, the rumored production volume for the standard model remains unconfirmed, and planned manufacturing quantities don’t necessarily reflect actual consumer demand, notes The MacObserver.
