Here are some of the latest hardware announcements.
° Immersed is shipping its first Visor headsets on Black Friday. It weighs 6 ounces — lighter than an iPhone — and looks closer to a thick pair of Oakleys than ski goggles. It runs about $1,000 against the Vision Pro’s $3,500. It’s in pre-order now.
The Visor 4K is $699.99 for the device with a Visor Plus membership. Buyers choose their payment option:
– $699.99 today, then $39.99/month for 24 months
– $699.99 today, then $59.99/month for 12 months
– Prepaid (device + Visor Plus): $1,349.98
Membership billing starts once the device ships. Taxes and shipping are charged before delivery.
° ROKFORM has introduced the $49.99 Signal Card, a credit-card-sized tracker that pairs with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub and allows users to locate their wallet from their phone in seconds.
